But what’s with the name?
Over a century ago, eight American painters banded together to defy the artistic conventions and established hierarchy of their time, empowering creators with new, direct channels to reach audiences and market their work by creating brand experiences that resonated, delighted, and fostered loyalty.
Blazing a trail for 20th century creators through their spirit of independence and freedom of expression–combined with their media savvy and entrepreneurial spirit–The Eight are recognized for transforming the modern art world.

Founder & CEO
Before launching The Eight, she spent the last decade serving in CMO and senior leadership roles spanning professional services firms (both public and PE-backed) in the accounting and advisory space, urban mobility & public transportation, B2B technology and enterprise software where she’s channeled her extensive brand marketing and communications expertise to increase pricing power, transform business models, empower communities, and shape employee culture.
When she’s not collaborating with clients to solve pressing business challenges, Meredyth is a board advisor for digital brand startup OnHue, a mentor for The Wond’ry, Vanderbilt University’s Center for Innovation & Design, and is a contributing writer and speaker for InformaTech’s Marketing Insights and Industry Dive digital media publications.
